I to am generating the exact same errors as you. Did you ever get a working solution to this? And moving IP addresses around manually is not a very good HA strategy. By giving full access permission one can open and read the content of any mailbox but cannot send emails from that mailbox.
I would like to add another physical machine (say exchange02) move all the mailboxes from the first to the second and then shutdown the VM for a merge.
